Solar energy has a major role in the Turkish government’s Renewable Energy Policy. The solar energy resource potential is around 1,550.00 kWh per square meter per year.
EnergyWorks successfully completed 374.00 kWp rooftop Solar PV project in Kırklareli/Turkey with Development, Engineering, Procurement and Construction works scope for Maraton Tarım ve Hayvancılık cattle farm, where around 2,000.00 cattle accommodate.
The Project was supported by the Ministry of Agriculture by providing financial subsidy.
EnergyWorks has picked up the high-quality system components and applied the best installations methods in terms of quality. Within the project 1,190.00 pieces of mono facial 315Wp CW brand solar PV modules were used. To convert the solar DC Energy into AC energy 6 pieces of Huawei brand 60KTL string inverter were used.
In general, industry is suffering from surging electricity prices and putting under pressure the investors.
The cattle farm has around 400 MWh annual energy consumption. The installed Solar PV system has around 450 MWh first year energy production capacity. Furthermore, with the installed Solar PV system, 220 tons of CO2 planned to be avoided.
